Our Community
We believe that being a part of the Bremerton community means more than just attending church on Sundays. That's why we're passionate about rolling up our sleeves and serving those around us. Whether it's through our food bank, youth programs, or support for local organizations, we strive to make a real difference in people's lives.

Through our 'Helping Hands' program, we offer a lifeline to members of our community facing financial hardship. By providing small financial assistance, such as help with utility bills and small gift cards, we aim to alleviate immediate burdens and offer a temporary bridge during challenging times. If you or someone you know could benefit from this assistance, please inquire about our application process.

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry offers a tangible expression of love and support through handmade shawls. These comforting creations are initially offered to members of our congregation who are in need of prayer and encouragement. As supplies allow, we extend this ministry of comfort to a wider circle within our community.
Shawls are lovingly knit or crocheted by volunteers using soft, machine-washable yarn. If you'd like to contribute, please consider donating yarn, or offering your time and talent to knit or crochet.
Even if you don't knit or crochet, you can still support this meaningful ministry by donating yarn. Your generosity will help bring comfort and peace to those in need.

In February, we join with churches across our denomination for the Week of Compassion, a global outreach effort. This vital ministry provides critical assistance to communities facing disasters, war, and extreme human need around the world.
Throughout the year, you can support the Week of Compassion by designating your offerings specifically for this important cause. Your generosity helps bring hope and healing to those in need.
